In the cheerful village of Willowburrow, Benny the Bunny was the official Easter Egg Painter.
He painted eggs in every color:

- Golden ones for Grandma Tilly, jellybean-scented ones for the twins, and even a glittery egg for the Mayor!
The night before Easter, Benny stacked the eggs into baskets on the town’s hot air balloon, ready to float them to every house.
But then—a strong gust of wind blew the balloon into the air before Benny could climb aboard!
“The eggs! They’re flying away!” he gasped.
The Sky Chase Begins
Benny didn’t waste a second.
He grabbed his goggles, jumped onto his skateboard, and raced down the hill.
“Follow that balloon!” he shouted.
His best friends joined in:
- Millie the Mouse flew her kite to send signals.
- Jasper the Squirrel swung from tree to tree.
- Olive the Owl soared high to track the balloon.
They zoomed through meadows, over rivers, and past candy-colored tulip fields.
The balloon floated higher and higher—carrying the eggs over Willow Lake.
A Sky-High Rescue
Finally, Benny reached the old Windmill Cliff.
Using a rope, a bouncy trampoline, and some clever planning, Benny and his friends built a launch ramp.
With a big boinggg!, Benny soared into the sky and landed in the balloon basket!
He quickly tied it to a tree branch as the wind slowed down.
The eggs were safe!
The town cheered as Benny floated the balloon gently down.
“Easter is saved!” cried Mayor Hareford.
The Sweetest Ending
That morning, every child in Willowburrow found a painted egg in their garden.
Some glowed. Some sang. Some even had little hopping jellybeans inside!
Benny smiled and said, “This year, Easter wasn’t just about the eggs. It was about the friends who helped me catch them.”
From then on, every Easter included the Great Balloon Parade, led by Benny the Bunny.
